Caloundra House supports individuals to live their lives how they want to, to make choices about what is important to them and enable them to prioritise their use of time, energy and skills. Being independent is a helpful step to living seamlessly with mental health issues. It helps restore the feeling of control in a person’s life, which is usually a sense lost when dealing with mental illness. We empower our residents to be as independent as possible, enabling them to regain some control.
